Big Bad News

Lots of Doctor Who news is coming out of America following the various events taking place there to promote the new series starting on BBC America tomorrow.

Doctor Who star Matt Smith on At the Paley Center in New York City on Monday this week, Matt Smith, Karen Gillan and Steven Moffat and gathered press took part in a Q&A session – with some interesting results. Most tantalising is Smith’s description of the series “big bad” (that’s the last time we’ll be using that cliched term, Kasterborans), which he confirms has already been seen in The Eleventh Hour.

“Albeit, not in the most conventional form. You’re going to have to think about it and find out what it is, but it’s in there,” he said. “And that’s the one, that’s what takes us through the whole series and my god, it’s bad.”

As we’ve potentially already seen a cameo in The Beast Below from the “crack” that we saw in Amy’s room, it seems fair to assume it might make a few more appearances…
