An “interview” with Karen Gillan appeared in Scotland on Sunday this week, in which the Doctor Who star talked clothes, college and “chippy sauce”.
Given that she’s a Scot, there really is no excuse for making the assumption that “chippy sauce” is 90% lard, but while we’re unable at present to identify the substance, we’ll instead settle on it being a largely healthy, vegetable-based condiment.
The feature itself isn’t much of an interview, more an S&A (sentence and answer – there aren’t even any questions!) with the following Doctor Who related responses:
On Dr Who
I think it’s really great that people are so passionate about the show. It’s the longest running sci-fi show in the world, so of course it has a really loyal fan base. Plus, my mum is a massive fan.
On kissing a time lord
It’s really weird kissing Matt. I see him as an older brother. But that’s just what you have to do as an actor sometimes.
Remember, you can see Karen Gillan’s debut as Amy Pond in Doctor Who on Saturday. The Eleventh Hour airs at 6.20pm on BBC One.
