James Marsters: RTD’s Bitch

James Marsters and John Barrowman in Torchwood Series 2Popular cult actor James Marsters – best known as Spike from the Buffy The Vampire Slayer show, and best known to Torchwood fans as Captain John Hart – has revealed that he is ready and waiting for the word from Russell T Davies for a possible appearance in a possible Torchwood Series 4.

Speaking to ChicagoNow.com largely about his role in the new Battlestar Galactica spinoff Caprica, Marsters revealed that he’ll even accept a minor role.

I was just wondering if you’ve talked to Russell Davies about coming back on “Torchwood” in the fourth season.

“No but he knows I’m his bitch. I’ll come wherever he’ll call, I’ve told him wherever. If he has work anywhere at anything, five lines or the lead, whatever he needs I’ll come.”

Fans are eagerly awaiting final confirmation of Torchwood Series 4, which despite the huge success of the five-part daily serial Children of Earth in 2009 has yet to be announced.
