Amy Pond is the New Jack?

Karen Gillan plays Amy Pond in Doctor Who - apparently she's promiscuous!Karen Gillan’s interview and photoshoot in Grazia magazine has revealed a potentially staggering fact about new Doctor Who companion Amy Pond.

Describing Amy as “promiscuous” possibly tells us more about the character than we really need to know – but it’s interesting how Gillan ends the statement.

“Amy is… it’s fair to say she’s quite promiscuous. And it’s fair to say she’s attracted to the Doctor.”

Think about that – and then think about Captain Jack Harkness, Time Agent and Torchwood member, a clearly promiscuous character who is also attracted to the Doctor.

Could it be that we’ll be seeing a lot of cheeky humour from Amy Pond in the new series of Doctor Who?

We’ve got just over two weeks to find out – Doctor Who returns to BBC One on Saturday, April 3rd!
