Two Doctors Chat

Here’s a cracking clip – from the Russell Harty show in 1984, consecutive Doctor Who stars Peter Davison and Colin Baker chat about the show.

This is quite a find, thanks to YouTube, and features the Fifth and Sixth Doctor actors chatting with the late BBC Two chatshow host about the series, Peter’s reasons for leaving and also includes an appearance from some costumed members of the Doctor Who Appreciation Society.

Peter Davison looks very dapper, while Colin Baker makes light of the fact that both he and the host are ex-public school. It’s an entertaining clip, lasting just under 10 minutes and of reasonable quality – although the less said about the fashions and set dressing, the better…
