TARDIS Tattoo

Tatwho youA love letter to the Tenth Doctor, or taking it all too seriously and pasting graffiti over your body in a desperate attempt to find some self worth? Tattoos have long been contentious in the West, but this particular example of Doctor Who artwork is likely to shock a few people.

Other than looking painful, from the images on show at the link above it doesn’t look that perfect a rendition of the TARDIS – but then beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and we’re talking about a tribute to the 2005-2009 era of Doctor Who here.

Is this particular type of tribute an appropriate display of love? According to the canvas, Ainah:

So that explains my ink; a tribute to Nine and Ten, who together were my first Doctors, leading me to become the person that I am now. Come spring, we meet Eleven and join him as he continues the swashbuckling adventures through time and space. I hope he brings joy to new viewers the way Nine and Ten did to me.
