Are living room objet d’art a secret passage way into the mind of the owner of the home? New EU foreign “minister” Baroness Cathy Ashton has a Dalek in her home apparently.
It isn’t clear however if the never-elected-in-her-life official (who has the responsibility of conducting foreign relations with the rest of the world on behalf of all European nations) is a Doctor Who fan or not.
Just as it isn’t clear what her position is on Taiwan.
Prior to the interview, Sky blogger Katie Snape observed:
She does, however, keep a life-sized Dalek in the corner of her sitting room. We’re doing the interview on a satellite link from her home and I’m keen to see whether the Dalek gets in shot.
Presumably the Dalek is far more interesting than Ashton.
