Caught in the Web

Former Doctor Who star David Tennant has provided a voiceover for an upcoming Newsround special.

Caught in the Web tells the story of a girl whose virtual chat room life collides with her real world. It also features other real life case studies, such a boy addicted to gaming.

Giving details on how to stay safe online and to keep hold of your personal details (very important!) Caught in the Web airs at 5pm on BBC1 on Tuesday, 9th February 2010. A repeat showing is at 6.35pm on the CBBC digital channel later that day and a longer version will be broadcast at 11am on BBC2 on Thursday, 11th February.
