Barrowman on Torchwood Series 4

John Barrowman’s appearance on Friday Night with jonathan Ross saw the host quizzing the Torchwood star on the future of the series, after establishing tat his success in the role has lead to an upcoming role in US drama Desperate Housewives.

John BarrowmanSolid news of Torchwood series 4 has been slow in coming over the months – 8 months have passed since Children of Earth finished and despite the odd positive words from Russell T Davies and rumours of an American co-production (or a completely different version) nothing has been formally announced.

Oddly, Barrowman has little to add to this.

“I don’t know … that’s the answer I have to give you, I have no idea. I have no clue of what’s going to happen, that’s the official answer. That’s what I am sticking to – I always say something else and and say something more, and I get in trouble for it, so I’m not saying anything more!”

So – whether Russell T Davies knows how the Torchwood story will continue or not is currently academic, if even the shows star doesn’t know what’s happening. If Barrowman doesn’t know, it is a fair bet that Eve Myles is out of the loop as well.

If there even is a loop.

It’s really not like blabbermouth John Barrowman to keep quiet – unless he’s been asked to…
