Doctor Who star David Tennant has beaten Star Trek star Chris Pine in the Best Actor category of Total Sci-Fi Online’s poll, reports Digital Spy.
This is likely to be the first of many polls and awards that honour Tennant, Doctor Who and Russell T Davies over the coming months – let’s hope that none of this detracts from the reception of the Moffat/Smith era due to kick off in the Spring.
Tennant’s Doctor only appeared in three Doctor Who specials in 2009 (four if you include The End of Time: Part Two on New Year’s Day), but the fact that these were the last opportunities to see this much-loved incarnation of the Doctor ensured Tennant took the most votes.
Total Sci-Fi Online is the current incarnation of the magazine formerly known as DWB or Dreamwatch.
