The Regeneration of Doctor Who

Last month’s BAFTA event featuring Russell T Davies and Julie Gardner discussing their 6 years as Executive Producers on Doctor Who has been made available for viewing online on YouTube.

Taking place on December 15th, 2009, BAFTA welcomed Gardner and Davies to an event that looked back at their time as the show’s executive producers.

Chaired by journalist Caitlin Moran, and almost 30 minutes long, the discussion involves a range of insights covering the casting of Christopher Eccleston and Later David Tennant, the devlopment of BBC Wales and their role in that as well as how Saturday evenings on BBC One were changed by Doctor Who and the dramas that followed it.
