The Doctor’s Receptionist

You can’t beat a bit of Doctor Who themed comedy – and user-submitted comedy news site NewsBiscuit has come up trumps again with a story entitled “Earth faces extinction as pleas for help dismissed by Dr Who’s zealous new receptionist“.

Previously on NewsBiscuit, issues of identity theft and health and safety legislation have been given the satirical treatment with a Doctor Who twist – this time the bizarre phenomenon of officious GP receptionists is the target

‘This new receptionist seems to think she is in charge,’ complained one patient, a Prime Minister of the UK. ‘Once it was easy to get an appointment with the doctor. Now it’s bleeding impossible. And, I swear, if I don’t do something about my Dalek problem, it could be fatal.’

If you’ve never read before, it’s certainly a greta read that makes light of the nonsense and insanity in the world around us.
