The Adventure Game 2010?

The BBC announce a new sci-fi adventuree gameshow, Mission: 2110Remember The Adventure Game – the CSO heavy science fiction family gameshow that seemed to owe a lot to a couple of key Doctor Who elements over the years and some very early 80s special effects?

The BBC have announced Mission: 2110 – something that sounds like a modern day version of The Adventure Game that has been written by Waters of Mars and Dreamland scriptwriter Phil Ford.

Executive Producer of Mission: 2110 is Sue Morgan:

Mission: 2110 is an exciting ambitious and challenging new fast-paced gameshow where the contestants will need to use all their cunning and guile to avoid elimination.”

Production apparently begun on the 13-episode series which is set in a post-apocolyptic landscape and features missions that send contestants through time and space to restore peace and stability to the planet.
