Smith Sells Out

Looking for an Eleventh Doctor figure in the Northampton area? You might be out of luck as it seems that figures of the new Doctor Who are in short supply.

Dressed in his predecessors ripped pinstripe suit, the Eleventh Doctor has apparently sold out in many places, and is even rumoured listed at quite high prices on auction sites.

Matt’s mother, Lynne Smith, (who apparently works at the Northampton local paper) said:

“The likeness is incredible. It’s amazing, I think it’s a really good model of him.

“And he’s my son, so I’ve obviously looked at it really closely. It was fabulous to see his first model, it was really exciting for us all.”

Retailing at £8.99 in shops, the rarity of the Eleventh Doctor figure has resulted in many people attempting to cash in on its relative scarcity.

Prices on eBay this morning are as high as £25, with increases likely as this story goes around…
