Matt Smith Gets Violent

Eleventh Doctor Who star Matt Smith has previously appeared in several films and TV series, but not among these is 2008 crime thriller In Bruges.

The reason why? He was cut.

Playing the younger version of Ralph Fiennes’s hitman Harry (they could have been seperated at birth, not) Digital Spy have turned up a clip of the deleted flashback scene that failed to make the final cut of the film, leaving Smith on the cutting room floor.

Which for younger viewers is just as well – In Bruges is a violent, adult black comedy quite unlike Doctor Who!

The clip can be found on Digital Spy at the moment – be warned though it features scenes of an adult nature and is remarkably violent, if not a little unlikely.

For those of you not old enough to watch adult movies, why not check out Matt Smith’s actual work on IMDb?
