Land of the Freema?

Comparisons with Oscar winner Halle Berry have lead former Doctor Who star Freema Agyeman to contemplate a change of career direction – and the Martha Jones actress could be heading to Hollywood!

Interviewed in The People, Agyeman reveals that she loves the  idea of Hollywood, and is flattered by comparisons to Berry.

“Being compared to her is a lot to live up to. It’s hugely flattering because she has made some brilliant choices in her career.

“When I think of Hollywood I am seduced by the glamour and that Marilyn Monroe image. It is magical in my mind so to go there would be incredible.”

Playing Crown prosecutor Alesha Phillips in ITV1’s Law & Order: UK has certainly helped Agyeman’s career, raising her profile and giving her the chance to show her true acting colours in ways that guest appearances in Doctor Who in 2008 and earlier this year haven’t.

As big fans of Freema – particularly her work on season 29 of Doctor Who in 2007, Kasterborous wishes her all the very best of luck with any plans she has!
