Dreamland on DVD

Out on DVD on February 1st is the recent high definition 3D Doctor Who animation Dreamland, starring David Tennant as the Tenth Doctor.

Dreamland DVD coverDoctor Who Dreamland sees the Doctor with two new companions – Cassie Rice and Jimmy Stalkingwolf – and pits him against a new alien race, the monstrous Viperox, led by Lord Azlok. Serving up all the traditional Doctor Who ingredients, excitement, drama and humour, this animated adventure is released on DVD from 1st February.

Written by Phil Ford (Doctor Who, Torchwood, The Sarah Jane Adventures), Dreamland sees the iconic TARDIS touch down in the desert in the USA. Stumbling across a mysterious alien artefact in a local diner, the Doctor is led to Area 51, also known as Dreamland, the US’ most secret base. He then finds himself on a momentous mission to rescue Rivesh Mantilax from the threat of the ruthless Viperox and the clutches of the American military.

Cast voices include: David Tennant as the Doctor; Georgia Moffett (Doctor Who, Spooks, Marple) as Cassie; Tim Howar (Last Chance Harvey) as Jimmy; David Warner (The Omen, Star Trek VI, Titanic) as Lord Azlok; Stuart Milligan (Jonathan Creek, Lewis) as Colonel Stark; Peter Guinness (Sleepy Hollow, City Of Vice) as Mr Dread; Nicholas Rowe (Margaret, Hotel Babylon) as Rivesh Mantilax; Clarke Peters (The Wire) as Night Eagle; and Lisa Bowerman (Casualty, Spooks) as Saruba Velak.

Extras: Doctor Who’s Greatest Moments - a 3 x 60 minute retrospective taking viewers on a journey through time and space to relive action from the legendary sci-fi show from 2005 onwards, featuring exclusive interviews with key actors offering unique insights on the classic moments. Split into three programmes, The Doctor, The Companions and The Enemies.

Running for 45 minutes, Dreamland has an RRP of £12.99 – and is Dreamland is available from Amazon for just £8.48!
