Doctor Who Exhibition News

The Doctor Who Exhibition at Kelvingrove Art Gallery & Museum in Glasgow closed earlier this month, and with the closure in November of the exhibitionin Blackpool, you might be forgiven for thinking the worst…

However all is not as bad as it sounds – replacing the Glasgow event is the Newcastle Exhibition, which opens in May 2010 and will feature genuine items from the programme plus a huge number of monsters, including the Cybermen, Sontaran, Ood, Judoon, Autons and the infamous Daleks.

Of particular interest is news that the Newcastle exhibition is also set to showcase many of the items from the 2010 series starring Matt Smith as the Eleventh Doctor, after they’ve been seen on screen. Meanwhile, there’s also a Doctor Who Exhibition at Land’s End in Cornwall, now in its third year, and of course the Doctor Who Up Close Exhibition at Cardiff Bay is the biggest permanent,
