Doctor Who 2010 Rumours

The popular Doctor Who website SylvesterMcCoy.com has pulled together lots of interesting facts and screen grabs in advance of the 2010 series starring Matt Smith and Karen Gillan.

Compiled from forums, set reports and people “in the know” the page is an easily accessible mine of information/rumour/spoilers that anyone wanting to find out more about the coming series of Doctor Who should take a look at.

And then take a pinch of salt.

Beware – There will be spoilers!

There’s no way pulling all of that information together can lead to a completely wrong set of details. The law of averages must dictate that some of the facts are true.

While we could have pulled a few of them together here… well, a lot of it looks out of date and contradicts what we already know. For instance:

After redesigning the console room and choosing the older TARDIS exterior (or did it just default?) with the original ambulance sticker and a new coat of paint, he meets up with Amy Pond who is Scottish and working in London

This cannot be chronologically correct – Matt Smith has been filmed on location in his regeneration gear, suggesting the first episode takes place straight after The End of Time, Part Two. As the trailer puts the Eleventh Doctor in his trademark look from the very beginning as he goes to enter the apparently newly repaired TARDIS (complete with sticker and white window frames) this must take place (towards) the end of the episode.

So remember, kids – the information is out there if you want it, in accurate and inaccurate form. We recommend you avoid it wherever possible and wait – Season 31 is going to be great!

(Thanks Laredo!)
