Daleks at Fundraising Event

If you’re in the Corsham area of Wiltshire on April 17th, a charity sci fi event featuring Daleks is taking place to raise money for the British Heart Foundation, Marie Curie Cancer Care and local causes.

Organized by heart attack survivor Ady Davies – who has a police box on his drive and three Daleks in his house – the event has been sponsored by local businesses who have donated prizes to the fundraising raffles. The event is into its 3rd year.

“I got into doing this when my younger brother gave me a life-size Dalek one year.

“I’m not a die-hard fan it’s just the events make such a difference to charity.”

It’s an event worth supporting -  you can get tickets from Automattic Comics in Corsham (priced £3 for adults and £2 for children) and find more information at www.corshamscifi.co.uk
