Doctor Who December

Fans of the work of Doctor Who scorer Murray Gold might be interested in popping over to www.musicfromthemovies.com to read an interview with the composer.

Throughout December www.musicfromthemovies.com is hosting ‘Doctor Who December’, so we suggest you keep an eye out for more interviews with Murray and Ben Foster with interviews from the Doctor Who Prom, right up to the recent scoring of The End of Time (which, I’m told is amazing!).

By way of encouragement, here’s a snippet:

Murray recalls the moment when he was offered the job on Doctor Who. “It’s important to get this all in context. At the time they gave it to me I had a sense that it might just have been a small programme on BBC2. I didn’t know if it was going to be big budget or just some nostalgic little remake. In all honesty, it was only when I saw the first episode that I realised quite how big a deal it was.
