Apple iPhone users might be very interested in a quality new app – one that pipes Doctor Who news straight to your phone!

WhoNews iPhone AppWhoNews is the brainchild of Paul Gee, and is an iPhone/iPod Touch application that brings you the latest news from all your favourite Doctor Who websites in one easy to use application.

WhoNews retrieves all the stories for your favourite British Science Fiction series. You simply click on your favourite site and drill down through the news feed, for headlines, summary or even go directly to the story using the in built browser.

As you can see from the screenshots (here, here and here), WhoNews looks great – it even features news from Kasterborous, as well as

  • The BBC Doctor Who News page
  • Doctor Who Online
  • Doctor Who News/Gallifrey News Base
  • Big Finish

This is a great app for iPhone users to take the hard work out of keeping up to speed with your favourite show, and developer Paul Gee is happy to take on board improvements and suggestions for other news sources via his website at
