Theme Tune Envy

The upcoming edition of the Radio Times features David Tennant discussing his final episodes of Doctor Who as well as chatting about one of the guest stars – former James Bond Timothy Dalton.

Timothy DaltonDalton – who starred in 1987’s The Living Daylights and 1989’s Licence to Kill - plays an as-yet unnamed Time Lord. Some fans have even suggested he might be Omega (The Three Doctors, Arc of Infinity), although this is unlikely.

Praising Dalton’s down-to-earth attitude to the Radio Times, David said: “He was lovely.”

He continued: “He had the panache and the skill of a movie star, without any of the alarming eccentricities or peculiar demands.

“At one point, he was singing the Doctor Who theme tune to me as I sang the James Bond theme tune to him!”

I once sang a theme tune at Dennis Waterman. No guesses who wrote it…
