Is This Death? Pass Me a Mince Pie!

There are just two more episodes of Doctor Who starring David Tennant and then that’s it – the Tenth Doctor is dead. Tennant himself of course finished work on the specials several months ago, and is apparently looking forward to settling down on Christmas Day to watch the show.

Speaking to the Paisley Daily Express, Tennant revealed he will be watching his own Doctor Who send-off on Christmas Day. One imagines that there may well be two former Doctors in the room when that happens, as welll as The Doctor’s Daughter

He said: “It’s my last Doctor Who. It will be nice to witness that.”

Speaking about the sonic screwdriver that he took as a memento of his time on the show, David said:

“I’ve only once used it to impress a child,” he said. “It was a charity thing but it was quite cool. He was only about five, so it was a nice, wide-eyed moment.”

Priceless. Hope that kid remembers that moment for all time!
