What is… The Christmas Project?

David Tennant has under four more months in the lead role of Doctor Who before it is time to pass on the baton to Matt Smith. Scary, isn’t it?

David Tennant leaves Doctor Who at Christmas :(As such WhovianNet.co.uk have decided to launch a dedicated new project – a fan-built scrapbook full of messages from Doctor Who fans to give David Tennant the best send off from the fan community. They call it: The Christmas Project!

In a nutshell, we’ve decided to create a scrapbook over the next few months which we plan to send to David Tennant at Christmas (hence the name), to thank him for all his hard work, commitment and dedication to the show over the past four years and to wish him the best of luck for the future!

Obviously, we can’t do it all by ourselves, and our aim is to fill the scrapbook with messages from Doctor Who fans. It can be anything – just a quick message, a photograph, fan art, or all three.

This is of course a great idea – and it’s the chance of every fan to make a personal message as described and send to David Tennant himself.
