Peter Davison is Legally Blonde!

Well – he’s in it, anyway! Doctor Who number five Peter Davison is set to star alongside former Coronation Street and EastEnders star Jill Halfpenny and audio companion to the Eighth Doctor Sheridan Smith in an upcoming production of Legally Blonde The Musical, previewing at The Savoy from December 5th.

Davison will play the role of Professor Callahan in what will be the first London production of the musical version of the 2001 hit film starring Reese Witherspoon, while Smith plays the lead character, Elle Woods.

Peter Davison – father of David Tennant’s close friend Georgia Moffett – is no stranger to musicals or the stage, and famously played King Arthur in Spamalot in the West End from mid 2007 to early 2008.

Legally Blonde the Musical is currently booking for performances until May 23, 2010.
