Mind of Evil in COLOUR!

Another piece of great news from the recent Regenerations convention in Swansea over the weekend is the colourization of the 1971 Doctor Who classic The Mind of Evil which stars Jon Pertwee as the Doctor, Katy Manning as Jo Grant and Roger Delgado as the Master…

At present it isn’t known whether the whole story has been recoloured – the chromadot process is believed to have been used on episode 2 however the first installment previously existed only on black and white film, for which a separate colorization process would be required.

A DVD release of the newly (partly?) recoloured story is anticipated, although there has been no announcement as yet as to when this might occur.

The Mind of Evil was previously released on VHS in 1998, while a CD of the audio soundtrack with linking narration from Richard Franklin was released in February of this year, while the chomadot process has also been used successfully on Planet of the Daleks.
