Young Superfan!

Congratulations to young North East lad Liam Cook who won a local prize to meet Daleks and Cybermen first hand at Sunderlands Dalton Park shopping venue.

Eight year old Liam’s a little bit crazed by Doctor Who it seems – he adores David Tennant, even has a kilt and dragged his family to Scotland for a holiday!

His mum is Paula:

“He watches the show on repeats and has all the figurines and Cybermen masks. His dad had to paint his bedroom doors like the tardis for him. He has even joined a drama club so he can become the next David Tennant.”

Of course, David Tennant himself was inspired to act by Doctor Who. Countless writers and designers got into the TV industry becuase of a love for the show.

Liam’s the next generation of Doctor Who fans and at just 8 years old he’s embracing the series as completely as it is possible to do!

Good luck to the lad!
