Who Peter

As reported by Doctor Who Online recently, a DVD extra for a classic Doctor Who release in 2010 will be a documentary that takes a look at the series close relationship with Blue Peter over the years – unsurprisingly titled Who Peter.

2|entertain’s Commissioning Editor is Dan Hall:

“I am delighted to confirm that we are nearing the end of production on our biggest documentary to date. It is a two-parter due for release next year, presented by Blue Peter / Strictly Come Dancing star, Gethin Jones.

Shot in the BP studio and the BP garden, the programme, Who Peter, was devised by Blue Peter producer Richard Marson, and produced by Chris Chapman of Dene Films.”

The documentary will feature contributions from former companion Peter Purves (Steven Taylor, 1965-1966), guest actress Janet Ellis (The Horns of Nimon), former Blue Peter editor Biddy Baxter and Russell T Davies.

Whichever DVD release Who Peter is featured on, it looks set to be a great additional feature!
