Award Winning Tate

Catherine Tate and David Tennant in Doctor Who 2008AirlockAlpha.com‘s sci fi Portal Awards has awarded Catherine Tate as the Best Actress on Television for the role of Donna Noble in the 2008 run of Doctor Who.

This is the first time Doctor Who has won any of the sites major acting awards – and while Billie Piper missed out on the Best Guest Star Category, Turn Left finished second in the Best Episode category and David Tennant found himself as runner up to the Best Actor award (beaten by Jensen Ackles of Supernatural), it’s good to see an international sci fi website nominating Doctor Who and the series receiving such positive results.

AirlockAlpha.com was of course formerly known as SyFyPortal.com – hence the “Portal Awards”.
