TARDIS Shed Week

TARDIS shedRegular Kasterborous readers will know how we like to champion the Doctor Who fan built projects whether they be Daleks, Cyberman cakes or TARDIS sheds.

We featured one or two last year and as we reach the end of National Shed Week 2009 let’s spare a thought for the superb TARDIS shed that lost out to what is to all intents and purposes a wooden chalet in the all-important Shed of the Year awards.

Featured on WalesOnline earlier this week, Paul Williams’s TARDIS shed looks the part and stands out from a crowd of many other interesting builds. Amusingly the description lists it as “huge on the inside”; it took 3 months and £600 to complete, “and the kids love it!”

Paul Williams’ TARDIS shed is of particular interest here – the quality of the build is obvious from the photo, as is the close attention to detail.

Meanwhile Steve and Kathy Allen own a much larger shed that has a police box as a single corner – not nearly as faithful to the original(s) but a good idea nevertheless!
