The leafy Gloucestershire area of the Forest of Dean is the next step for the Eleventh Doctor as filming continues on the 31 series of Doctor Who.

According to ThisIsGloucestershire.co.uk, filming will take place in local attractions that include Puzzlewood as well as the Clearwell Caves in the Forest of Dean.

At the end of the month film crews are expected to move into the Clearwell Caves to build sets, with production there expected to last nine days.

Night shoots will be employed in order for the well known attraction to stay open.

Clearwell Caves manager Jonathan Wright refused to divulge any of the storyline but said:

“David Tennant came here three times and he was a really nice chap so we are looking forward to meeting the new Dr Who. It’s nice to rub shoulders with glamour once in a while.”

Reports that sales of night-vision goggles in Cheltenham have gone through the roof remain unconfirmed…
