Australia Children of Earth

TORCHWOOD: CHILDREN OF EARTH airs 8.30pm Tuesday, July 7 on UKTV in Australia

With UK fans getting Torchwood: Children of Earth next week from July 6th and US audiences seeing the miniseries from July 20th, with only a rough airdate for Australian television things were a bit up in the air.

It looks as though Australian fans are highly favoured however… with the proposed synchronised broadcast between BBC One and BBC America which offered the prospect of mere hours between the episodes on both sides of the Atlantic now shelved, Australian fans will get to see Day One on the UKTV channel from Tuesday, July 7th with the serial running through to Saturday, July 11th.

Given the time difference between the UK and Australia with the series kicking off in Oz at 8.30pm that means Australian viewers will be watching the new series around the time we’re all settling down to work here in the UK.

Which should dissuade a good deal of filesharing…
