TARDIS Burial for Fan

We often like to feature unusual homemade builds – Daleks, TARDIS potting sheds, etc – but this story is a bit different, and a lot sadder; it concerns a Doctor Who fan who passed away recently and was buried in a TARDIS shaped coffin.

Doctor Who fan and David Tennant lookalike Seb Neale was just 26 when he died recently – the Swansea university graduate fell at home after a barbeque at a friends house.

200 mourners attended the funeral which saw Seb remembered with a glossy brochure of him in costume as well as a service made up of Doctor Who quotations.

A family tribute read:

“Seb never missed an opportunity to make the most of his similarity to the latest Doctor Who.

“You could even say he exploited it, and if there was a pretty girl about, so much the better.”

Very sad, and very moving. Our condolences are with Seb’s family and friends.
