Coming soon – Vworp Vworp! A one shot, full colour zine focusing soley on the Doctor Who comic strips!

Planned for a launch at the upcoming Evening with Dez Skinn, treats in store include:

A lovely 9 page 10th Doctor strip “Time Leech” from K’s own Christian Cawley and Justin Abbott, mentored by John Freeman

A 10 page Master strip “The Master’s Live on Mars” (a continuation of the fabulous Scrolls Master strips but with the Simm Master in a Life on Mars crossover – very fanwanky and lots of fun) by Gareth Kavanagh and John Daiker

“Clash of Empires”, a back-up strip from Daryl Joyce featuring Ice Warriors v Silurians, (riffing off something raised in the Alan Barnes Cybermen interview)

Alan Barnes and Ade Salmon talking the Cybermen (including the unpublished script and original rejected 1st page of the Cybermen)

Expanded Flood design gallery

Paul Scoones talking about his love for the strips in an exclusive article and a chat about his new Who Comics Guide currently under preparation with Telos

A fantastic Dez Skinn chat and more still to be revealed!

Oh and if we can pull it off, a new transfer scene from Ade Salmon (just like DWW #1 complete with real transfers) with design advice throughout from Dez Skinn helping recreate the authentic Doctor Who Weekly feel of the piece.

And some more special treats we’re keeping under our hat.
