Music From Outer Space Review

In April the Music From Outer Space event at Liverpool Philarmonic Hall was hosted by Lis Sladen and husband Brian Miller and featured sci fi related tunes performed by the Royal Liverpool Philarmonic Orchestra – and yet received little press attention other than the local publications.

Luckily, Sarah-Jane.tv was there to chart proceedings, and it certainly seems like it was an event that didn’t disappoint.

Along with other world-famous theme tunes, the Music From Outer Space event also featured a five-minute segment of Sam Watts’ Sarah Jane Adventures compositions.

…the five-minute ‘Adventures of Sarah Jane’ suite consisted of a medley of sombre compositions from the first two seasons. Lis, who was sporting a low-cut grey strapless gown that evening, sat on the sidelines swaying her head along to the music. Finishing off with an epic rendition of ‘Until Next Time Miss Smith’ [known to most as the SJA trailer music]

Full review and some photos of the event are availabel at Sarah-Jane.tv.
