Gatiss Pens 2x Episodes for 2010?

Potential Spoilers!! UK tabloid the Sun (who we don’t provide links to) reckon that incoming Eleventh Doctor Matt Smith will be facing a couple of threats in 2010 from the hand of Mark Gatiss, writer of The Unquiet Dead, The Idiot’s Lantern and guest star of The Lazarus Experiment.

The former League of Gentlemen star is allegedly working on an adaptation of his superb novel Nightshade (published in 1992) as well as an Indiana Jones/Night at the Museum style fight against Nazis looking for a powerful artefact.

However some questions have been thrown a the news item – with quotes from Russell T Davies included, it seems odd that he would be commenting on what is to come when he leaves. Cited quotes were limited however to:

“Indiana Jones-type chamber hidden beneath the floor with sliding stone doors and stuff”.

Given proximity of the comments and the news to the embargoed Torchwood press launch earlier this week however it would seem inevitable that Doctor Who would be mentioned at the event.
