Torchwood Debut for Britain’s Got Talent Star

The latest edition of Simon cashCowell’s Britain’s Got Talent featured an amazingly talented young singing newcomer, Shaheen Jafargholi who was dramatically stopped mid-Valerie to be told by the starmaker to instead sing something else (which turned out to be a Michael Jackson track Whose Loving You).

Check it out here.

It turns out of course that being Welsh and possessing talent, Shaheen isn’t such a newcomer after all.

Torchwood.tv have uncovered (well I imagine it involved nothing more than a few minutes detective work, but we’ll stick with uncovered as they’ve got photographic evidence!) that young Shaheen appeared in Torchwood S1 E7, Greeks Bearing Gifts, as a young boy called Danny, not to mention a 2004 appearance in Casualty.

So – Britain has indeed got talent. It might be young, exciting and impressive, but it’s not exactly new talent, is it?
