Planet of the Dead Gallery Enhanced

The Radio Times have enhanced their Planet of the Dead gallery with more images following release of the trailer online and on TV this evening – and it includes a close up of the "flappy things with teeth"!

Are they the Tritovore? We may not know until broadcast, but one thing is for sure – they’re impressive-looking CGI if the trailer is anything to go by.

Like a giant flying mantaray, whatever these beasties are certainly owe a design similarity to the floaty things we saw briefly in the first moments of Army of Ghosts.

A quick hop over to the trailer raises the question however – what are these creatures, and do they have some sort of intimate relationship with the planet’s biosphere?

Or did they just make the Planet of the Dead a modern day Aridius?
