Planet of the Dead Free Preview!

Theatr Hafren in the mid-Wales town of Newtown in Powys has been selected as one of three venues to air a preview of Planet of the Dead on Good Friday.

Those wishing and able to attend should contact the ticket line on 0330 3330560 – but beware, things are likely to be busy!

If you’re lucky enough to get a ticket, you’ll get to see the Easter special – one of David Tennant’s last – on Good Friday, 10th April, before it broadcasts nationally on Easter weekend.

Theatr Hafren director, Sara Clutton, said: "We are absolutely delighted, it is something free for our customers and we are delighted to be able to open our doors and put on something different. "It just builds on the success we had at the Here for You roadshow two years ago."

Co-starring with outgoing Tenth Doctor David Tennant in Planet of the Dead are former EastEnders and Bionic Woman star Michelle Ryan as Lady Christina de Souza, and comedian Lee Evans playing as Malcolm.

9om Update

We’ve learned that the other two towns to receive free preview screenings are rumoured to be Denby and Newport…
