More Specials Casting – SPOILER!

Reported this morning on the DoctorWhoForum.com at Outpost Gallifrey, a big name has been reported on set for shooting of the final David Tennant episodes…

It wouldn’t be fair to make you guess any longer – and while you might expect Billie Piper, Freema Agyeman, John Simm or Catherine Tate (although she might pop up soon…) it is of course the incomparable Bernard Cribbins!

The Wilf Mott actor – grandfather to Donna Noble – was spied at Tredegar House on set today. It’s expected next week that production will switch to another location – Donna’s home!

With the episodes set to air over Christmas, Wilf’s presence will likely see Cribbins last appearance in Doctor Who taking place almost exactly two years after his first in Voyage of the Damned.

Meanwhile actor David Harewood – Friar Tuck in BBC One’s Robin Hood – revealed to Jonathan Ross on BBC Radio Two on Saturday that he will be appearing in the Tenth Doctor’s final episodes.
