Euros Lyn on Tennant’s Departure Story

With shooting of David Tennant’s departure from Doctor Who pencilled in and scheduled under the expert eye of Euros Lyn, who has also been busily working on Torchwood: Children of Earth.

In fact Lyn – who first worked on Doctor Who on the double block of The End of the World and The Unquiet Dead – will be completing work on Torchwood before moving straight to work on Doctor Who.

"I’ve seen the scripts, and they’re amazing," he said. "I’m being being very careful not to give anything away, but I think fans will be thrilled with David’s farewell and how we set up the 11th Doctor.

"I have to approach the project as I would any other. From the script’s perspective. The past or the significance of the episode isn’t relevant. You have to start with the script from day one."

That’s what I call a safe pair of hands.
