Dalek Supreme up for Auction

Hiding in the asset list of Buckinghamshire communications agency Indeprod is a very special item that likely wouldn’t have popped up if it wasn’t for the company going into administration. Moving from the company’s reception area to a brand new home, the artefact is likely to fetch up to £18,000.

Which would be a snip at the Dalek’s last purchase price – £36,000 when it was bought in 2005.

A sign of the times?

"We’ve never sold a Dalek before – it’s definitely one of the most unique items we’ve dealt with in recent years.

"It will be the star item of all the company’s assets when it goes up for sale.

"It’s a real bargain, considering how much the company originally paid for it, and a really good investment for whoever wins it at the auction."

It isn’t clear from the news item in The Telegraph what type of Dalek this is, but given the use of the "Dalek Supreme" moniker and it’s previosu appearances it does sound like a movie Dalek prop that later went into service on the TV series.
