Casting Denial

Actress Kimberley Nixon – Sophy Hutton from the 2007 series Cranford – has denied that she has been cast in the 2010 series of Doctor Who.

Interestingly, this is the first time the actress has been linked with the show in any publication, but apparently the attractive blond has had no contact from BBC Wales..

"Absolutely nothing [is happening with Doctor Who]," she told Metro. "They film in my home town so it would be good from a convenience point of view. I haven’t heard anything – just what I’ve read in the papers. I haven’t even auditioned."

Fair go though, she’s an attractive sort, and would on visuals alone make suitable companion material, don’t you think?

Is it actually a denial if it hasn’t actually been reported anywhere though?

And if that’s the case, is she perhaps protesting too much…?
