Peter Purves Book Signings

Happy Birthday to Peter Purves who launches his autobiography today as he celebrates his 70th year!

The launch of Here’s One I Wrote Earlier takes place at The Kennel Club in London’s Mayfair today, with Peter beginning publicity for his book this morning (February 10th) on BBC Breakfast News.

Here’s One I Wrote Earlier - available from Amazon for just £11.39 - should be of huge interest to fans of the 1960s Doctor Who era as it covers Peter’s time on the series as well as referring to some interesting relationships.

Scheduled appearances on TV and radio for Peter to talk about Here’s One I Wrote Earlier include Libby Purves’ BBC Radio 4 show on February 11th, the Channel 5 news on the same day, and Simon Mayo’s Radio 5 show later that afternoon. As well as various local TV appearances, Peter is also set to be seen on The Paul O’Grady Show (broadcast scheduled March 19th) as well as Richard & Judy, and The Wright Stuff.

Furthermore a list of book signings have been arranged across the South West and Midlands:

* Waterstones at the Lakeside Shopping Centre Wednesday 18th February – 18.30 – 20.00
* Waterstone’s, Cribbs Causeway, Bristol Noon – 14.00 on Thursday 19th Feb
* Waterstone’s, Yeovil, Evening at the Swan Theatre (venue tbc) also on Thursday 19th Feb
* Signing sessions on the "OUR DOGS stand at Cruft’s Dog Show, NEC, Birmingham 5/6/7/8 March. Precise times to be announced.
* Waterstones in Coventry Saturday 14th of March,
* Waterstones Colchester on Friday 20th March.
