On the Buses

Shooting on the next Doctor Who special Planet of the Dead continues this week alongside news that – and this might tickle you – the Bristol Commercial Vehicles Enthusiasts website reports that a third red double decker bus has been employed on the shoot.

One of the faithful members of the Bristol Commercial Vehicles Enthusiasts has reported that one bus – GGM84W – has been employed on the shoot apparently as a replacement for the damaged bus!

…believed to be on its way out to Dubai, which means there will be an Alder Valley VR at both ends of the filming! In addition a photo has come to light of the damage to RUA and it can be seen… as the new Photo of the Month

Above right is the Bristol Commercial Vehicles Enthusiasts’s rather a decent picture of the damaged bus – RUA461W – which they’ve made their Photo of the Month – and I think we should too.
