Gap Year Builds!

What better way for family-oriented dads to spend a Who-lite year than to take a quick hop over to – and look up how to make a cardboard K9!?

With such a simple set of parts (cardboard or foamboard red LED possibly from a torch or other handy mechanism) it’s no wonder that is such a popular site, with a list of projects as long as your arm that also includes the obligatory TARDIS replica.

Unfortunately, being a member is required for various details – such as the TARDIS Police Box notice – but the detail and illustrations of each of the "makes" in cutaway form should be enough to bypass this in all but the most vital situations.

There’s more than just Doctor Who at this site too – howabout a Batman spotlight – or a pulse rifle? is a great resource – perfect for inspiring kids into model-making!
