Doctor Who Experience in Second Life

A marvellous bit of technology, Second Life is more than just a game – as proven in this video of the The Doctor Who Experience & Cardiff rendered in superb 3D graphics.

The Doctor Who Experience & Cardiff is a whole region in the free to download Second Life online world. Dedicated to Doctor Who and Torchwood, the architecture within the region – as you can see in the video – includes Roald Dahl Plas, the Millennium Centre and much more.

Omitted from the video is the Doctor Who Museum which resides in the sky (player avatars can fly around the Second Life world) and is a virtual tour of the TARDIS from the original William Hartnell console.

We think this is superb, and strongly recommend anyone with the time to take a step into Second Life to check this superb piece of work in person (as it were).
