Or is it Rachel Stevens?

She’s so small you could sit her atop the TARDIS console – and popstar Rachel Stevens is the latest pretty girl to be associated with the plum Doctor Who companion role.

Sure, most of this speculation is tabloid column inches, but it’s certainly a lot of fun to read, not to mention dig out pictures of the subject to include here.

Apparently Rachel Stevens (born Rachel Steinetski) has been here before:

“I got down to the last two when Billie Piper got it so I hope this time it’s for me.”

It’s easy to dismiss this as nothing more than tabloid rubbish, but remember – these young popstars attend stage school before hitting the big time, and receive training as actors. While the former model might have shot to fame as one part of S Club 7, she possesses a steely determination which might just set her apart from some of the other contenders.
