More Mickey Smith?

Award winning actor, writer and director Noel Clarke has spoken of his interest in returning to Doctor Who.

Clarke – who was rumoured to be joining Torchwood along with Martha Jones actress Freema Agyeman – says of the idea:

“Who would turn down a return to Dr Who? I love the show and have always supported it. I was there from day one when nobody was sure if it was going to be a hit.”

but the show moves on. Who knows? Whatever happens, happens. I’ll see if they come knocking.

Clarke has been nominated for Bafta Rising Star gong for his movies Kidulthood and Adulthood, wrote an episode of Torchwood (Combat) and last appeared in Doctor Who in the 2008 finale Journey’s End.
